Religious Archivists: Our Quest for the Best -
2006 Conference

The 2006 Conference for Archivists for Congregations of Women Religious (ACWR), held September 28-30 at the Drawbridge Inn in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky was a wonderful success. With nearly 200 attendees, the event brought together archivists from all over the country as well as Canada and Guam.

Participants were enthusiastic about both the plenary speakers and the breakout session offerings. Many commented on the friendliness of the group and on the opportunities for networking with other archivists. New officers were installed at the annual meeting and participants were asked to respond on their evaluations to new ideas that were suggested at the orientation for new members.
